THANKS TO THE CAST AND CREW

Wow. This is a shout out thanks to all the cast and crew for BEST SHORT at the LA Femme Film Festival. The reviews were great and compliments from the acting to production design to cinematography were abundant. No surprise to us of course. I couldn't be happier and look forward to the next one. We're off to Canada next.

WINNER: BEST SHORT LA Femme Film Festival

Oh What a Night....
As the LA Femme Film Festival came to a roaring close last night, Renie (in her fabulous Red Coat), Laura, Jess, Mel, and me (in my swanky brown velvet coat) attended the awards ceremony hosted by the hilarious Sandra Valls (the crazy/beautiful Latina trying to scare me with her hand). This was the real deal, and La Femme did not hold anything back for the final night of the festival. We were surrounded by incredible women in the film community. I can't tell you how ecstatic and proud we were to hear our names called as TERMINAL was awarded 'BEST SHORT" of the 2006 LA Femme Film Festival. Renie and I had seen some amazing films in the fest and the competition was stiff. We are truly honored that TERMINAL was chosen last night amongst all of the shorts!!!! Here are a few highlights from the Awards!

LA Femme Film Festival Benefit Gala Night

After 4 amazing days at the LA Femme Film Festival in Los Angeles, TERMINAL was in the running. We screened yesterday at the Fine Arts Theater in Beverly Hills to a hefty audience, with an amazing reception. Our short opened for a feature at the noon program. Renie and I attended the VIP Gala fundraising event, benefitting the Jonsson Cancer center at the Wilshire theater, enjoying Upright LA Cabaret and comedians Suzanne Whang and Becky Baeling. We had a blast and enjoyed mingling and mixing with fellow filmmakers, actors and guests, while supporting the fight to find a cure for Breast Cancer.
